How to Get to Aruba National Park

It takes around 40 minutes to drive from the hotel zone of Aruba in the Noord part of the island where most hotels are located, to reach Arikok. To get there, you can rent a vehicle, book a guided tour, or take a taxi to reach the entrance.

The only way to navigate the rugged terrain is by a 4x4 vehicle - similar to St Lucia's mountainous island. You can’t get to the natural pool without a 4x4. You can self-drive to the park or take an organized Arikok National Park 4x4 tour which will include transportation from your hotel.

I don't like recommending ATVs as they can damage the island's delicate ecosystem.

Once you arrive at the park, be sure to pick up an Arikok National Park map from the park's visitor center. This map will guide you through the park's trails, caves, and historic sites. Don't forget to add these must-see attractions to your itinerary!

There's really no bad time to go to Aruba, so pack your bags, grad your face cover, and get ready for an off-roading adventure!
